Protect Michigan's Great Lakes - Vote NO on HB 4246

Michigan is surrounded by twenty percent of the earth's fresh surface water supply. But House Bill 4246 would weaken protection for the Great Lakes and all aspects of Michigan’s environment.
This bill would prohibit the Governor and his/her agencies from issuing any rule that is more stringent than federal law. In effect it says there is nothing special about Michigan compared with any other state in the union and takes away the Governor's power to protect clean air and water.
